Adios

Saying goodbye is the tip of the iceberg, change is the glacier. It moves at slow, measured speeds, both leisurely and hazardous, heart wrenching and cathartic, life-altering and quintessential. Saying goodbye is the catalyst for things to come.

Goodbye house.

Goodbye road.

Goodbye home.

Goodbye to the only home Daisy has ever known.

Goodbye to seven years worth of memories.

Goodbye to childhood.

'Goodbye.' 'Adios.' 'Ciao.' 'Au revoir.' 'Shalom.' 'Slan.' Whichever way we say it, it's going to hurt.

I Scream

Ice cream is the world's way of saying 'You are loved'.

My sister got sick about two weeks ago and we thought it was because of the ice cream. We just thought she had a cold.

But it turned out she had pneumonia.

Also, my first idea for this assignment was "I Scream for Ice Cream".

Sundae Post

So I promised Diane I would post the picture she took yesterday. Which she took while we hung out in Katy's car. (Who is now named [Cheese]Burger Mobile? )

It had nothing to do with ice cream, but we did talk about the assignment and ice cream when we were at Katy's dinner party at Pizza Hut. Which was awesome!

We paid for dinner in mostly one dollar bills,

and bought tons of toys from the twenty-five cents machines,

which are now on my wall.

Anyways, that was my random post.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (yesterday) KATY!

I hope you check my blog out like you said you would, Diane!
