Adios

Saying goodbye is the tip of the iceberg, change is the glacier. It moves at slow, measured speeds, both leisurely and hazardous, heart wrenching and cathartic, life-altering and quintessential. Saying goodbye is the catalyst for things to come.

Goodbye house.

Goodbye road.

Goodbye home.

Goodbye to the only home Daisy has ever known.

Goodbye to seven years worth of memories.

Goodbye to childhood.

'Goodbye.' 'Adios.' 'Ciao.' 'Au revoir.' 'Shalom.' 'Slan.' Whichever way we say it, it's going to hurt.

  3. My short time with you as a student is but a "blip on the radar" of our lives. I am all the better for it. These photos make me sad, too. I want you to perservere and never, ever quit using that amazing brain/camera that you have.
